All OZtec Shock Absorbers are covered by a limited lifetime warranty, which is available to the original retail purchaser only.
While all products of this type gradually wear out with use, OZtec Shock Absorbers (OZtec Suspension) warrant that their shock absorbers will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle on which the shock absorbers were originally installed.
How to claim:
An OZtec Warranty Assessment Form, which can be found on page 304 of this catalogue, or obtained by contacting OZtec Suspension, must be completed and forwarded with a copy of proof of purchase to the stockist you purchased the goods from.
What are your obligations?
It is the original retail purchaser’s responsibility to retain proof of purchase for the duration of ownership of the vehicle. You may be required to send the claimed shock absorber to OZtec Suspension for warranty assessment.
What OZtec endeavour to do:
Upon receipt of a fully completed warranty assessment form and proof of purchase, OZtec Suspension will repair any OZtec shock absorber deemed defective in material or workmanship only, or replace the defective shock absorber with new shock absorber of OZtec’s design. OZtec will not pay for the removal or installation of the shock absorber under the terms of warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover any OZtec shock absorber which has been:

Subjected to fair wear and tear including but not limited to stone damage.

Used for rally, off road and/or any other competition motor sport use.

Modified, altered or improperly used.

Improperly installed or installed on any vehicle for which it was not designed or catalogued.

Presented for warranty by one other than the original retail purchaser.

Subjected to wear and tear as a result of incorrectly fitted or missing bump stops.

Consequential damages are not covered by this warranty. Consequential damages include but are not limited to: loss of vehicle use, incidental damages, labour costs and freight to and from OZtec Suspension or stockist.
PLEASE NOTE: Rental, Taxi/Delivery and mine use vehicles are excluded from "Limited Lifetime Warranty" but are covered for 12 months with unlimited kilometres.
